What can I say? I absolutely enjoyed the ambience, service, food (presentation and taste!). What a wonderful find and experience xx The bruschetta was so fresh, steak tartare was great since I love to mix my own balance of flavours and ravioli was superb. The star of the day was the very well and delicately cooked octopus I also really enjoyed both the cheesecake with cherry and chocolate mousse desserts.

We had such a fantastic evening at BaccoMatto. I've been there before 2 years ago and raved about the food to my boyfriend so wanted to take him here. It didn't disappoint. The food is incredible, the staff are very friendly and attentive and the wines are delicious (especially the dessert wine they recommended). It's nice that it's not a massive restaurant - it makes it feel more intimate and special. They also had live music on the night we ate there and the band was fantastic. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. We're coming back on our last night in Florence.

We stopped in after walking around for a bit and certainly did not regret our choice. The service was very welcoming and friendly. A fun wine-bar atmosphere is paired with truly outstanding food. Be sure to try the eggplant/ricotta appetizer! Definitely stop in when you’re in Florence!

I had the most incredible birthday experience a girl could ask for thanks to Polly (I hope I remembered your name right. If not PLEASE tell me so I can correct this!) and Company at BaccoMatto. Seriously, the food was amazing - I had the Prosciutto e melone to start, and the Tagliolini con gamberi, bisque e pomodorini gialli confit as my entree. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, and they were just so thoughtful - I even got a birthday surprise with my dessert. I can't wait to come back and visit, just to pop in and try more things on the menu, and I promise my Italian will be much better! There's no way I can thank you enough for such a wonderful birthday dinner (it was August 19th, I'm super late writing this. So sorry!). I flew to Firenze on a whim and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Many thanks to you ALL for being a huge part of what made my trip so special. For real: Y'all are amazing. I wish I could give you 10 stars!

Loved our dinner here! Would definitely recommend for families or a romantic couple dinner. The service was immaculate, even though we were being fussy and moved tables twice. Not to start about the food! We enjoyed the steak tartare, spaghetti with boar ragu and beef steak. The portions were good and it tasted simply amazing. Anyone that likes a full-bodied and round red wine, try the BaccoMatto house-wine (100% Sangiovese)!

The food was really good! I tried one kind of crostini and a pasta dish, they were both insane. Arguably the best pasta dish I’ve had in Florence so far!! The waitress was also extremely friendly!

We had a pretty good dinner at BaccoMatto. The menu was a little limited with not too many options. Appetizers were very good. Pastas were excellent. The steak wasn't great and was chewy. Service was good and attentive. However, it was very hot in the restaurant with the door wide open and AC not making any impact at all. They did have a fan which helped a little.
